Hello world! My name is Jenna Reichert. I am a professional photographer, and I own Jenna Reichert Photography and I am co-owner of J&J Weddings. I am happily married to my best friend Brandon who is such an amazing man.
Life is extremely busy for me, hence the reason why I wanted to start a personal blog. I would love to record my hectic, do everything, be everything life.
For starters, let me introduce our baby. Meet Jewels a.k.a “The Poo”. She is a maltipoo (maltese poodle) and the love of our life!!!
As I mentioned above, I am a photographer. I absolutely love my job! I started my photography business January of 2010, and I went fulltime with it July 2011. I feel so blessed to get to do what I love to do.
Being a business owner has its perks there is no doubt about that, but along with those perks comes a lot of stress. A lot of people think photographers have the easiest job in the world. I get a kick out of that. “All you do is push a button…right”. Ha, I wish! They don’t have the first clue about what I really do. They see posts like this….
So they assume all we do is have fun! What they don’t realize is right before this image, I just paid monthly sales tax and had to sock away money for end of the year taxes. I had just wrote a check for my health insurance as well as my half of our monthly bills.
Here’s the best part, I have everyday stress just like everyone else! The only difference is, I get to make my own schedule. Hey wait that’s a plus! =)
